Barbados Dining - West
The Fish Pot: Tucked away in the north side of the island is a small and intimate restaurant. The cuisine is a good eclectic modern mix, at base Caribbean with French influence but with the best of Barbados' foods - and wholesome Caribbean fish. If you are looking for the famed "glitziness of the West Coast" then this may not be the place for you. It is an extremely laid-back property, ideal for hiding away.

Tides Restaurant: The Tides Restaurant is hands down one of the best, if not the best, restaurants on the island. Once you pass through the open air courtyard and are seated at your table, steps away from the sea, you know you have entered a special place. The world class service - the restaurant closes for a week each year just for staff training - is only one small facet as to why this restaurant is so successful. Co-owner Tammie Beasley has created an atmosphere of understated elegance with an emphasis on customer satisfaction. The entire friendly staff is both knowledgeable and professional. But let's not forget the food. With Michelin star training and an artist's flair, co-owner and executive chef, Guy Beasley, creates sensational dishes that will satisfy even the most demanding gourmet. Open for lunch during the week and dinner each evening.
